THE NOW CAMP INTERNSHIP:  
We’re so excited about this year’s camp, and we know your excitement is building too!  Youth camp is one of the single most important events of the year, and it’s never too early to get excited.

With NOW Camp 2011 we are unveiling an all-new internship format, with returning interns having an opportunity to expand their responsibilities by leading the “newbies.”  This year we are seeking to find the 24 most passionate, most outgoing, most creative, most dedicated, and most talented high school students out there!  We know NOW Camp is filled with incredible students, and we need them to help us take Camp 2011 over the top!  If you’re interested in being an intern, you must complete and submit your full application by Wednesday, May 11th. 

Interns will report to Grace Church in Humble, Texas for the pre-camp internship on Monday, June 13th at noon.  Interns will stay in Humble through Saturday, June 18th, and all interns will stay with host families from Grace Church.  In addition to attending the pre-camp internship, all interns will be required to attend both weeks of youth camp (June 27-July 1 & July 4-8).  The cost to intern is $550.  This cost covers the two weeks of camp tuition, as well as the housing and all meals during the pre-camp internship. 

To apply, campers must complete the attached application and return it to Pastor Chuck Martin via email (chuck.martin@gcofh.com). In addition, all applicants must submit a 2-minute video audition by posting their video to the NOW Youth Camp Facebook page. The video can be shorter than two minutes, but no longer. Applicants are encouraged to be as creative as possible during their video audition, but we also recommend the video highlight the applicant’s greatest strengths that best qualify them to become one of this year’s 24 camp interns.

Students selected as interns are responsible for finding transportation to and from the pre-camp internship, along with transportation to and from each week of camp.  Please note, once the pre-camp internship and the actual weeks of camp begin, all transportation will be provided.  All interns will be notified of their acceptance by Monday, May 16th.
